Design by Amy C. Shellenberger.
The Cyclones Program is designed to provide young athletes with
the fundamentals requisite for ski racing. Skiers improve their
techniques through free skiing and racing each Saturday, build on
their knowledge with Ski Patrol Awareness, and show off the skills
they've acquired in Little Giants and Parent/Child Races. By the
end of the season, coaches, junior shredders, and parents are all
ready to celebrate with the annual Ice Cream Social.

The Christmas Program is for serious skiers not old enough for the
J5 program. They ski blue and black runs, spending time on the
race hill daily. Space is limited, and participants
must be signed up
for Cyclones.

Cyclone groups are small, usually 5 or 6 kids per instructor. Our
coaches are all USSA or PSIA certified, and not only do they
advance their athletes' knowledge, they also encourage kids to have
fun in the process. This program is for the skier who already knows
how to ski and is able to independently put on equipment and
navigate a green run confidently.
All skiers must participate daily with
appropriate ski and weather attire, including
helmet, goggles, gloves, etc. and his/herown
ski pass ready to scan. Daily disposable sack
lunches are required, and on cold days, please
consider sending money along for hot
chocolate.

The drop-off and pick-up area is located
between the Gothic and Treasury Buildings at
the base of Mt. Crested Butte. Parents, please
be
ON TIME for drop-off and pick-up!
